Here’s the first in a brand new monthly poster series for the National Post Toronto section. Each month a new poster that will attempt to illuminate, beautify, iconify (is that a word?) our dear burg.
A sketch for a client. We ended up going in a different direction, but I had a lot of fun playing in the midcentury style they requested.
I created a series of Mother’s Day e-cards for the David Suzuki Foundation. Money goes towards the DSF’s campaign to help protect bees, and the foundation as a whole. So send your mom an e-card because she’s the bee’s knees, right?
Pretty excited about this assignment! It’s a card for the David Suzuki Foundation’s Mother’s Day campaign. You can buy print and e-cards for your mama (or someone else’s mom?) and the proceeds go towards helping the bees. I love this idea, because I hate buying stuff (my mom already has everything she could possibly needx2), but want my mom to know she’s the bestest ever and that I love her more than coffee.
This card is also a bit of a Where’s Waldo, and when you order it your mom gets a secret key to find the five hidden items.
